When I was 15 years old, I wrote a hilariously bad Resident Evil fan fiction called Wesker's Revenge. At the time, I was member of a Resident Evil Internet forum called A New Blood. My screen name, not surprisingly, was Albert_Wesker. I was still honing my writing skills at the time (which, thankfully, have improved greatly) and was also still learning a lot about how things in the world actually worked. Having way too much time on my hands, I wrote Wesker's Revenge, which chronicled Resident Evil's most infamous villain engaging in mostly senseless acts of violence and spouting off ridiculous one-liners.
This story is bad. Really bad. Surprisingly, it was a pretty big hit on the forum and had regular readers / commenters. I'm not sure why this was... because... man... it's painful.
Anyways, skip forward to today and you'll find that I'm a 23 year old English Writing major about to go to graduate school for filmmaking. I was hanging out with a few friends the other night when Wesker's Revenge got brought up by one of my friends that was actually a forum member. I began to summarize what I remembered from the prologue of the story, mostly to ridicule and laughter. My friends then told me that I should find the story and record an audiobook version of it so they could all listen to it on the way to work, on road trips, etc. At first, I thought they were joking but, after hanging out with them again the other night, I found that they really meant it.
So here it is-- Wesker's Revenge: The Audiobook Edition. I hope you all enjoy it for its many flaws. I was sure to try and pronounce every misspelled word I came across (and get ready because there are a lot). I also decided to be true to my fifteen year old self and pronounced all the curse words that filled the story (I loved putting profanity in my fan fictions). Because of this, this audiobook isn't safe for work. However, I hope you can all enjoy it in the privacy of your homes or on a road trip or two.
With all that said, enjoy Albert Wesker's epic revenge spree. It's really something else.
